A good guide changes what you see. At Sarnath they explain the Dhamek Stupa, the Lion Capital in the museum and the first sermon; in the old city they read the lanes, shrines and ghats; at Bodh Gaya or Nalanda they bring the ruins back to life. We match the guide to the subject, not only to the place.
Guides work in sessions, usually a half day or a full day, in the language you request. At monuments where approved guides are the norm, we use them.
A driver is not a guide, and neither is a travel host. Standard journeys exclude a sightseeing guide unless the itinerary lists one, and you can add one here for any visit.

SCOPE AND LIMITS
What it is, and is not.
- Private guiding for the destination, subject and session stated in your quotation.
- Entry tickets, transport and boats are separate unless listed.
- Guides explain and accompany; they do not arrange special access or skip queues.
- Language availability depends on the destination and is confirmed in your quotation.
Added items are requests. If something is already part of your journey and tier it shows as included and is never charged twice.
