Some guests simply feel more at ease with a woman beside them in crowded lanes, at temples or on an early walk to the ghats. A female accompanying host gives the same practical support as your travel host, with the comfort many women, mothers travelling with daughters and older women ask for.
On Her Own Way, our women-only departures, a female host is part of the programme and cannot be removed. For private journeys, choose the days or sessions you want her with you, and the language you would like her to speak.
The host is a woman; other people on your journey, such as drivers, boatmen or temple staff, may not be, unless a specific role is confirmed in writing.

SCOPE AND LIMITS
What it is, and is not.
- In-person, non-medical accompaniment for the coverage stated in your quotation.
- Mandatory on Her Own Way departures; optional on private journeys.
- Drivers, boatmen and other suppliers are not promised to be women unless each role is confirmed.
- Not a sightseeing guide or security officer unless that role is separately confirmed.
Added items are requests. If something is already part of your journey and tier it shows as included and is never charged twice.
