Venue sourcing

Varanasi offers heritage hotels on the ghats, palace and garden hotels, city hotels with lawns and ballrooms, and dedicated banquet halls and marriage lawns. We help you shortlist venues that suit your guest count, ceremonies, season and style, then approach them on your behalf and compare what each can offer. Each venue's availability, terms and charges are its own and are confirmed in writing; we do not imply exclusive access to any venue.

Guest stays, transfers and hospitality

We arrange rooms for the families and guests across one or more hotels, meet arriving guests at the airport or railway station, and plan transfers between hotels, venues and ceremonies. In the old city, where lanes are too narrow for cars, we plan walking routes and drop-off points with older guests in mind.

Ceremonies and priests

We coordinate the priests, materials and timings for the ceremonies you choose, from haldi and mehendi to the wedding itself, and any puja or Ganga ritual the families would like. Riverside ceremonies depend on the venue, the river level and any permissions required, and we confirm what is possible before planning around it.

Decor, catering, photography and entertainment

We work with decorators, caterers, photographers, videographers and performers to deliver the look, food and music you have in mind, within the agreed budget. Each supplier's scope and deliverables are set out in your proposal, and dietary requirements, including Jain and sattvic menus, are passed to the caterer in detail.

Kashi for your families and guests

Many wedding guests are visiting Varanasi for the first time. We can arrange dawn boat rides, aarti viewing, guided walks, temple visits and food trails for them around the wedding days, and add a journey to Sarnath, Prayagraj, Ayodhya or Bodh Gaya before or after.

Planning a wedding in Kashi

Auspicious dates in the wedding season draw many weddings at once, so hotels and venues are in demand. Boats and riverside events are affected by the monsoon and by local orders, and sound and timing rules apply at many venues. We raise these early so that your plans rest on what is actually possible.

How it works

Wedding planning has its own enquiry, separate from our journeys. Tell us your dates or flexibility, guest count, the events and days you are planning, rooms, any venue preference, the scope you would like us to take on and, if you wish, an indicative budget. We come back with questions, then a written proposal. Travel arrangements for wedding guests form part of that proposal. There are no prices on this page because every wedding is quoted individually.
