A Ganga puja is an offering to the river herself: flowers, a lamp and a sankalp spoken with the priest, often at sunrise or as evening falls. It can be a quiet personal moment or a family ceremony for a birthday, an anniversary or a remembrance.

We arrange a priest, the materials and a suitable spot on the ghats, or a boat if you prefer to make the offering on the water. Duration, participants and what the priest will perform are agreed before the day.

This service also delivers the Ganga Puja Experience, so booking the experience does not mean paying for the puja twice. Pujas from a boat depend on river level and local restrictions on the day.

WHAT WE NEED TO KNOW

To arrange it well.

  1. Preferred location: a particular ghat, or from a boat
  2. Date and time of day
  3. Number of participants
  4. The purpose or occasion, if you would like the priest to include it
SCOPE AND LIMITS

What it is, and is not.

  • Priest, materials, location, duration and participants are stated in your quotation.
  • Delivers the Ganga Puja Experience; the same puja is never charged twice.
  • Boat-based pujas depend on river level, weather and local restrictions.
  • Where a boat is already included that session, the puja uses it rather than adding a second boat.

Added items are requests. If something is already part of your journey and tier it shows as included and is never charged twice.
